  • Applicants may access the Personal Record Request letter on the New Jersey State Police (NJSP) website within 24 to 72 hours of fingerprinting. This letter represents an official request for their CHRI.
  • Applicants must choose the correct code for the fingerprint-based New Jersey criminal history check from the NJSP's site and obtain their Personal Record Request within 90 days of the fingerprinting exercise. If they exceed this date, they must repeat the process, incurring additional charges.
