Warren County District Court Records

The Warren County Superior Court is the district court equivalent in Warren County. It serves as the main trial court for most cases but transfers cases to the other courts when necessary. Types of cases heard by the Warren County Superior Court include the following.

Warren County Criminal Records

Criminal records or criminal history are the records of all an individual’s interactions with law enforcement. A criminal history check is also known as a background check and will show Warren county arrest records, police reports, court case information, convictions, prison records, and any other records concerning criminal activity.

The New Jersey State Police are responsible for processing criminal history records inquiries from citizens, businesses, and government agencies. They offer fingerprint-based criminal history checks for the entire state. To start the process, the requestor may schedule an appointment for fingerprinting with the service company via their scheduling website IdentoGo, or by calling 1(877) 503-5391.

The service company issues a six-digit service code to identify applicants and ensure they are fingerprinted for the right purpose. For example, 2F1BJG indicates a personal records request for visa interviews, expungement, immigration, and personal records. A full list of codes and their corresponding purposes is posted on the state police Criminal History Records webpage.

Payment will be collected at the fingerprinting site chosen by the applicant on the day of the appointment. The fee for the fingerprinting service is $45.73, and payment is accepted via VISA, Master Card, American Express, Discover, prepaid debit cards, or electronic debit (ACH) from a checking account.

After fingerprinting, applicants will be able to download the personal record request letter within twenty-four and seventy-two hours. To download the letter, the applicant will require their last name, date of birth, and IdentoGo PCN as given on their IdentoGO form. The letter must be downloaded within 90 days, or the process will need to be restarted. Warren County Criminal Court Case Lookup

Warren County criminal cases can be looked up using the Find a Case records search page provided by the New Jersey Courts. The various search tools allow users to look up public case information, including criminal convictions and criminal judgments, online. Searches can be made using various criteria, including names, counties, and case numbers. It should be noted that only cases where defendants were convicted and sentenced in the superior court will be shown in search results.

Get Warren County Civil Court Records

Warren County Family Court Records

Warren County Family Court records are records from cases involving domestic issues such as divorces, dissolution, paternity, child and spousal support, custody, and adoption. Warren County Marriage and Divorce Records

Marriage and divorce records can be obtained from municipal health departments, the Vital Statistics Office of the New Jersey Department of Health, and the Warren County Superior Court respectively. These records can be obtained by simply contacting their custodians.

Marriage records cost $25. This acts as a search fee and guarantees the requester one copy. Extra copies ordered at the same time will cost $2 each. Cash is only accepted during walk-in requests.

Online request payments will be accepted by credit card and will incur a $5 identity verification fee and a $5 processing fee.

Divorce records can be obtained from the family court division of the Superior Court. Record seekers may fill out a court request form and submit it to the superior court. Where required enter Warren for county and family for the division. Provide adequate information for requesting the record such as names of the parties to the divorce, case number, and date. The form can be submitted in person or online using the Judiciary Electronic Document Submission (JEDS) system.

Warren Birth and Death Records
